Research Interests

My research is focused on advanced methods in digital signal processing (DSP), with particular emphasis on biomedical signal and image analysis, as well as efficient algorithm implementation in embedded systems.

  • Biometric Systems: Design and development of biometric identification systems based on iris, retina, facial features, and voice signals, including feature extraction, pattern recognition, and classification methods.
  • Biomedical Image Analysis: Processing, analysis, and classification of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) images of the human eye, with applications in medical diagnostics and computer-aided detection.
  • Embedded DSP Systems: Efficient implementation and optimization of digital signal processing algorithms using microcontrollers and single-board computers (SBC), with focus on real-time performance and resource constraints.

Keywords: digital signal processing, biometrics, iris recognition, retina recognition, face recognition, voice biometrics, OCT imaging, medical image analysis, pattern recognition, machine learning, embedded systems, real-time processing
